Dr. ElShafie has been the Executive Medical Director of Oak Brook Behavior Health since 1997. He is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who does Psychiatric Evaluation and Treatment, Individual and Family Psychotherapy, and Psychopharmacology. He also has a special interest and experience in the area of School Evaluation, as well as Legal Consultation. He is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and a Board member of the Illinois Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. ElShafie trained at the University of Chicago, and graduated in 1993. He has been in practice since then.

Dr. Khadija Khan has been in practice for 17 years. She finished medical school in Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her General Psychiatry Residency at the University of Illinois Chicago, and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Khan is passionate about early assessment and interventions for children. She believes in a broader understanding of each child’s developmental and neurobiological risk factors.

Dr. Francesca Skowronski has been with Oak Brook Behavioral Health for over five years. Previously, she served as a visiting assistant professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago where she directed an evidence-based summer treatment program for children. Dr. Skowronski received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Miami University and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Chicago. She completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago.

Antoinette Camardo has been working with children and families since 2005. She received her M.A. in Social Work from the University of Chicago. She graduated from Indiana University with a dual degree in criminal justice and sociology. Antoinette supervised the children and family behavioral health program at a not-for-profit community health clinic before joining Oak Brook Behavioral Health in November 2011.

Melany Marie Danehy, M.D.

Dr. Danehy is a general adult psychiatrist with over 16 years of clinical experience. Dr. Danehy has worked as a private practitioner, as well as for hospitals and mental health centers. Dr. Danehy is an associate professor at Rush University, in the Department of Psychiatry, and has published book chapters on Antidepressants in Movement Disorders, and Intermittent Explosive Disorder. She has presented at professional conferences, spoken regularly for support groups, and teaches residents and fellows at Rush University about the use of psychiatric medications. She regularly attends psychopharmacology conferences by Harvard and Massachusetts General Hospital to lean about advances in her field. Dr. Danehy attended medical school at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and completed her residency in Psychiatry at Rush University, Chicago. She has been with Oak Brook Behavioral Health for over 10 years.

Mary utilizes a psychodynamic framework with a Cognitive Behavioral treatment approach in her clinical work with adult clients. She attended medical school at Midwestern University / Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Islam is passionate about connecting and collaborating with patients. Dr. Dobrowolsky believes that being a physician is not a career, but a vocation: how one gives of themselves to others based on their talents, gifts, and life experiences. Together with her training in neurobiology and psychopharmacology, Dr. Donna integrates patients’ life experiences, relationship patterns, and faith backgrounds, taking a mind-body-spirit approach toward healing.
Dr. Dobrowolsky treats numerous psychiatric illnesses with a focus on mood and anxiety disorders, including those that have not responded adequately to previous treatments; women’s issues and postpartum depression; adult attention deficit disorder; post traumatic stress disorder; and cognitive/emotional changes from accidents and medical/neurological conditions. She also treats chronic pain in collaboration with other health care providers.
Dr. Dobrowolsky is a member of the Neuroscience Education Institute, American Pain Society, and Catholic Medical Association. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 1989, where she also completed her Psychiatry Residency in 1993. She is certified as a Diplomate in the Specialty of Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since November 1994, having passed recertification examinations in 2004 and 2014. In addition, she has an advanced psychopharmacology certification from the Neuroscience Education Institute. Dr. Donna enjoys teaching and is an experienced presenter, with a particular interest in the inter-relationship of spirituality and medicine toward personal healing.
